What We Do

Educational Outreach

Through powerful storytelling and heartfelt presentations, founder Taylora Schlosser has reached over 70,000 people across Kentucky. By sharing Taylor’s journey and advocating for mental health awareness, Taylora helps break down stigma, spark important conversations, and inspire change. Her outreach includes school assemblies, conferences, and community events—each designed to remind individuals that their story matters.

S.M.I.L.E. Clubs—established in schools and communities across Kentucky—encourage students to spread kindness, build connections, and prioritize mental well-being. Rooted in the S.M.I.L.E. values, these clubs create safe, supportive environments where every student feels seen, heard, and valued. From uplifting notes to community service projects, SMILE Club members become everyday ambassadors of hope and positivity.

The acronym S.M.I.L.E stands for:

  • M: Move, Motivate, and Manufacture Joy Every Day
  • I: Illuminate—surround yourself with positivity
  • L: Light—be a guiding light for others

Taylora Schlosser

Founder

“When we lost our only daughter/sister to suicide, we decided that we would not be ashamed! We would start a foundation or create a scholarship. And every time we share her story, wear a tee shirt, or place a sticker on a car, we hope that her story will change another family's story.”
